Pismo Beach

Pismo Beach is a very popular destination and rightly so. With miles of sandy beaches and temperate weather year round, it’s like living in paradise! Home prices are lower than other coastal California ciites. Oprah Winfrey’s show stated San Luis Obispo is one of the top US cities in which to live and we feel the same way about the Pismo Beach area which is only about 15 minutes from SLO. The Five Cities area has a feel of a small hometown but it’s also a tourist area with much to do. Pismo Beach is the “Clam Capital” of California. The city holds the “Clam Festival” every October, complete with clam chowder competitions and a clam-themed parade. There are numerous coffee shops and restaurants and shops. Pismo Beach has it’s own public golf course and is close to several others (Arroyo Grande, San Luis Obispo, Avila Beach and Nipomo). There are wonderful state, county & private campgrounds, ATV riding in the dunes, fishing from the pier or in the waves, surfing, nearby wineries, and more. Kayaking along the cliffs can bring a new view of Pismo Beach. Click hereto access the Pismo Beach Visitor Guide.Pismo Beach provides a wide variety of opportunities for recreation and relaxation.
