Me&Z’s Mexican3rd & Grand, Grover Beach, CA 805-474-9778Now at their new location at 3rd & Grand, the restaurant is beautiful and the food is really delicious. Very fresh! Besides homemade chips and salsa, you receive a cup of soup to start your meal. Each day is a different flavor of soup. All the entrees come with Spanish rice and beans and dessert is included which is vanilla ice-cream with caramel sauce and toasted cinnamon crisps on top. Sammy’s Killer BBQ, also known as BBQ2Go, is the place to go for mouth watering BBQ food.  Our favorite is the tri-tip sandwiches which are loaded with meat. You can also order ribs, chicken, hamburgers, salads and more. There are two kinds of barbecue sauce: sweet and spicy. The entrees come with your choice of sides. The restaurant is very casual and they’ve recently opened up a bar room in the back with pool tables and live music fairly regularly on Friday nights. You’ll love it!

This is our favorite pizza place! The pizza is fresh and delicious. They give you peanuts to eat as you wait for your pizza to arrive and you just throw the shells on the ground. Tuesday nights is their “Chowdown” which is an all-you-can-eat buffet. They bring out pizzas regularly (20 varieties) and go table to table offering you a piece which you can take or decline and wait for the next pizza to come out of the oven. A great way to try a variety of pizzas! There is also salad and bread. They also have an “Oldtime Sing-a-Long” on the 1st & 3rd Saturdays of the month from 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm. You can even buy a kazoo for $1 to play along! There is a great atmosphere and a fun place to bring the family!
